MoU with CIODS

An MoU was signed between the Dept. of Botany, Union Christian College Aluva and Centre for Integrative Omics Data Science, Mangalore.  The students of both PG and research in 5he Department of Botany are given exposure to the use of various bioinformatics software for the analysis and interpretation of their research data. The major area under analysis includes metagenome data obtained from sequencing of endohytes. Functional annotation of genes involved in various metabolic pathways were undertaken and the work 8s under process.
