Time with tiny tinans
Fifth standard students of Christava Mahilalayam Higher Secondary School, Kuttamassery, Aluva visited the Department of Botany, Union Christian College. A small exhibition on some botanical curious was displayed for fifth grade students of Christava Mahilalayam Higher Secondary School, Kuttamassery, Aluva at MSc previous lab. The exhibition includes introduction on plant world, visualisation of stomata, cells and algae through microscopy, display of some curious things such as resin art, herbarium and herbarium art etc. Gave them with a small description on plant word as well as herbarium techniques. And introduce them about tissue culture lab and show them tissue cultured plants and microbiology lab and bacterial culture. Also introduce them instruments such as incubator, Hot air oven, autoclave, laminar air flow, weighing balance, stereo microscope, electrophoretic apparatus and deep freezer.
